Home Inspection

I hired a home inspector to come out to the house I am hoping to purchase to thoroughly go over the home and detect any problems. The house passed with flying colors. There were only minor, and I mean, minor, repairs to be made. That was a huge relief since the home is 21 years old. The current homeowners have done a wonderful job of maintaining the house. So, for a total of $300.00, I now have the satisfaction that I am buying a great home.

HI! This is so exciting to read your new home adventure :) I am super envious which is good because it fuels my motivation to save.

I regards to the comment you left on my blog, I am only on day 4 and it is very hard deciding what kinds of things to get rid of. So far, I have chosen to get rid of a fish who had his fin broken because I know in my heart that its been over half a year and I am not going to fix him. Some box that stationary came in and a free gift with purchase (this glass crystal thing that is still in its box). At the end of the month I will take a picture of all of my stuff and list it too. Stay tuned :) (as though it really were that exciting! lol)

Congratulations! That's great the buyers took such good care of their home. I've seen some doozies of folks selling their place and it's in shambles. Since it's so new, your insurance should be really low, too. Good luck!

In my case before I purchase a home in Los angles I have been advised to use some home inspection service. At first moment I denied but after my wife insists I agree to hire Los Angeles certified home inspector and guess what i found so many things in that house need to get repaired as soon as possible.
