Is anyone as obsessed as I am with Robert Pattinson???? He has to be the most gorgeous man that I have ever seen in my entire life. After going to see the movie Twilight this past weekend, I can dream of no other. I even went to go buy the book, which is great, because I now how a mental image of the character Edward. WOW is all that I can say.

I haven't written in a few days because I am in a bad mindset financially. I have been contemplating buying a house, but determined that my student loans are so outrageous that it scares me to take out any more money. I currently have just over $105,000 in student loans and have 23 more years of payments. No bank or company will consolidate my private student loans which are at a variable interest rate. While the market is down, so is the interest rate, but as soon as the ecomony is booming again my rates will skyrocket. I know there is tons of advice out there stating that you should not repay your student loans faster than necessary, but I cannot stand it. At this rate, I will be over 50 before they are paid off and that is unacceptable to me. Thus, I believe that I am going to take next year and aggressively pay back my student loans. I understand that it is still going to take several years of aggressive payments before it is paid off, but I cannot stand it hanging over my head. At least with a house, you have something to show for it.

Last Weekend
I had a great weekend!!!!
Friday night I drove over to Birmingham to meet up with the best friend. We went to the Alabama Theatre to see a concert. The concert was great, as is the theatre. The only downfall was that they stop serving drinks before the end of the first set, which meant we had two more hours with nothing to drink...not even water. I understand running out of beer, well not really, but to run out of everything to drink....come on. I ended up buying a t-shirt for $25.00. A little expensive, but I am glad that I got it.
Saturday, we woke up and drove to best friend's home town. Her and her finance just remodeled their condo and we went to cook out for the Alabama/LSU game and let me see the new place. We had a fabulous time!!!!
Sunday, after much lounging around, I drove home and arrived back around 9:00.
Overall not much money was spent (less than $100).

Gifts
My very best friend from law school turns 30 this December. As with past 30th Birthdays (her finance's and my "ex"'s) we like to do it big. For her finance's 30th Birthday we flew to Fort Lauderdale and attended Langerado. For the "ex's" 30th birthday we went to Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. So needless to say, we MUST celebrate her birthday in grand style. Therefore, I will be buying VIP tickets today to go to Warren Haynes's Xmas Jam in Asheville, NC. I have never been to Asheville or even North Carolina for that fact. This it is going to be FUN TIMES.
With that being said, I am missing out on Jamaica. That is where we were supposed to be celebrating her 30th birthday, but we have decided to change locations. I am very excited!!!! Although, it is going to really hurt my pocketbook right before the Holidays.

Networth
I updated my networth. While I am still in the negative (for the forseeable future), I am slowing but surely crawing out of debt. Damn student loans.
